Hmmm, where to start. OKay first of all, I am really sick of this stupid weather. I was wearing a tank and a skirt playing tennis in the beautiful weather yesterday. And then today it snows like the whole day? Cmon georgia, pull it together. Secondly, I really wish that everyone had a mind reading ability. It would make my life 2348723482 times easier if I knew what someone was thinking. AND, if people could read my mind then I wouldn’t have to say it out loud and look totally obnoxious. Suppose I was wearing this ugly green shirt and everyone said it looked pretty so they wouldn’t hurt my feelings. Well if I could read their minds then I would no it was hideous and I would get to go home and change my shirt and not make a complete fool out of myself. Do you see the convenience? OKAYYYY, BYE!

where art for thau romeo

25 02 2010

I don’t believe Romeo and Juliet has any relevance whatsoever to current teens. First of all, most of us aren’t planning on getting married anytime soon. Secondly, I’m pretty sure I don’t know any 14 year old that has killed someone or that will climb up a cloth ladder just to get to his girlfriend’s room to have sex. Call me crazy but i don’t think that’s what teens are doing at this time. And lastly, i don’t think any of us are so in love that we would die if our love was gone.

love at first sight

21 02 2010

I dont think its possible to fall in love at first sight. A person might think someone is attractive when they first see someone and might want to meet this person, but there is no way you can look at someone for the first time and be like omg, i love you. Its not possible. If you cant judge a book by its cover, how are  you supposed to fall in love with a person when you first see them?

YOUTUBEEEEE

7 02 2010

It is almost impossible for me to choose just one youtube video because I like so many of them. I chose this video because when i first saw it with my friend, I could not stop laughing. This video is really NOT that funny;  there are a billion other videos that are funnier than this one. I just chose this one because it like activated a certain part of my brain that would not let me stop laughing. Me and my friend rewatched it like more than 10 times and we still cracked up every time we saw it. Its basically about how the police have to tranquilize a bear, which then falls out of the tree onto a trampoline. If you wanna see it, here’s the link:

hero’s journey

28 01 2010

A good example of a hero’s journey is So B. It. Heidi lives with her mom in Reno, Nevada. Heidi’s mom has a disability however and can only do very simple things. Heidi wants to find her grandmother really badly. The call to adventure comes when Heidi finds some old photos of her  mother at a Christmas party.  I don’t want to give the book away, but basically, this book features most of the elements of a hero’ s journey and is a great read for all.

Music

24 01 2010

If I’m on the computer, the majority of the time I’m listening to music. I’m also probably doing homework. My mom always starts nagging me that there is no way that I can be listening to music and learning at the same time. So, I decided to test it out. Does listening to music affect ones memorization ability? i will find out the answer.
